A village with many ways to gather.
Our place
Afro Essence Village brings art, food, heritage, wellness, family and celebration together in Gbawe. The full history is being documented; what is certain is the purpose: to make culture a lived, shared experience.
Our purpose
Culture belongs in everyday life.
We create room for people to meet Ghanaian creativity through objects, meals, music, play and thoughtful moments of rest.
- Art & heritage
- Food & hospitality
- Family & community
Our vision
A legacy people can take part in.
A destination in Gbawe that values makers, welcomes families and gives cultural experiences a contemporary home.
